How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who contacts Departmenturban Tree Service to get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, tell us. This page explains how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience calling or contacting Departmenturban Tree Service
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

Problems With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If there is a problem with tree work on your property, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Please note that Departmenturban Tree Service cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Filing a Complaint

Email contact@departmenturban.living and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Write

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. We will review what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For issues involving licensed contractors, a state or local licensing office may be able to help too.
